The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) is pleased to announce that our regional Powerlifting team had returned from the WABDL Washington State Bench Press & Deadlift Championships in Aberdeen, Washington. Our team came home with 7 first place trophies, World Records, National Records, W.A. State Records, as well as our own NWABA records. Billy Henry, Jesse Curtis, Nick Wilks & Rachel attended the competition, along with many close family members & NWABA volunteers. These athletes did wonderfully, sense our team started in May, this is our THIRD COMPETITION. Next stop for these athletes is the WABDL World Bench Press and Deadlift Championships in California.
